Motorcycle Website
Specification Browser Concept
Context
When I was shopping for a motorcycle, I visited endless of manufacturer and dealership websites. The experience was consistently frustrating. To evaluate a single model, I needed engine displacement, horsepower, torque, brake specifications, dimensions, weight, and performance figures. That information was never in one place. Engine specs required clicking into a subpage. Dimensions were buried in a collapsible section. Performance data sometimes existed only in a downloadable PDF.
Comparing two models meant opening multiple tabs and scrolling through each page repeatedly to find the same data points in different locations.
I designed this concept as an alternative: a single-screen layout where all relevant specifications are visible at once. Engine details on the left, key performance metrics on the right, horizontal navigation between models at the bottom. Switching brands happens in the top navigation without leaving the page structure. The layout stays consistent regardless of manufacturer, so comparison becomes a matter of glancing rather than hunting.
